When the auto close function on a 1500 suddenly stops working it is typically because the open limit is slightly out of adjustment. This can easily be fixed by adjusting the retract limit on the actuator arm (pull-to-open instillation). With the gate FULLY OPEN, remove the cap over the retract limit (shown below) then with a Phillips screwdriver begin turning the internal screw counter-clockwise. Make about 3 full revolutions then return to the control board and hold down on the LED enable button to check if the Master Open LED illuminates. If it does not illuminate repeat this process going about 3 full turns each time until the LED illuminates. If you have a single gate and this Master Open LED illuminates when holding down the LED enable button then you are done and it should begin to auto close on the next open cycle. If, however, you have a dual gate you will need to make these adjustments on both the master and the slave actuators until the Master Open and Slave Open LEDs illuminate at which point the system should begin auto closing on the next open cycle. If you have both of these LEDs illuminating but the system is still not auto closing then check your program switches located on the top right corner of the control board. The very top switch #1 – timer to close – needs to be turned on (pressed down to the right) to enable
