EMX IRB-MON photo-eyes manufactured before June 2020 will have the blue receiver board and all manufactured after June 2020 will have the red receiver board. SmartCNX Controllers are using the10K resistive method of monitoring, so the wiring between these models (blue board or red board) does not change. However, the dip switch settings do. For the model with the blue board, turn the 4th dip switch on, with the rest of the switches off. 10K output is enabled with the jumper set to the left, with the pin exposed to the right, for this model. For the model with the red board, turn the 3rd & 4th dip switches on, with the rest of the switches off for 10K resistive output. This model can be used in non-monitored applications as well. There is no jumper, but the 3rd dip switch can be turned off to disable 10K resistive output.
